Wen was born in the beautiful province of Hangzhou, China. Soon after, he lived a sporadic life all over the world. His hometown is split between China, Hawaii, New Jersey, and California. He was first exposed to filmmaking in a New Jersey high school. From various serendipities such as a gaining support of fans, friends, family, and film festivals, he dicovered something fantastic at a very early age; this was the potential power of visual storytelling.
Wen currently travels all across the world directing documentaries and narrative films. He thrives to work on projects that entertains the soul, captures the heart, and changes the mind.
